SGVK is new age NGO , Sparsh the brand name of SGVK is a society which was started by few professionals from the areas of microfinance, livelihood, advocacy and mainstream financial institutions. Witnessing huge poverty and hunger, these individuals came together and resolved to bring their expertise in their respective areas to build a strong platform to provide advisory services in market study and microfinance and also indulge in direct intervention in the areas of SHG mobilization and livelihood promotion. Registered in 2007, Sparsh has started these initiatives in one of the most backward districts of India i.e. Sheohar in Bihar. Along with Sheohar, it has also been working with several livelihood promoting agencies to cater to the vast needs of the urban and rural poor in Bihar.
